Texas deserved to win. OU did not. Ryan Reynolds injury looks to be bad. The Sooners were not the same without him. The fake punt call with all the momentum with the Burnt Orange, I don't know.
Looking forward to OSU @ Mizzou in a few hours.

Big 12- Opening weekend of conference play.
Oklahoma and Texas kept their focus on the opponents this weekend, despite the showdown next weekend. OU dispatched Baylor, and Texas waxed Colorado. The Sooners and Longhorns are ranked #1 and #5 respectively, going into Saturday's game.
Oklahoma State and Missouri exercised demons in each of their victories on Saturday. OSU blasted Texas A&M, taking revenge on some recent close losses and a blowout in 2005. Missouri eliminated 3 straight decades of losses in Lincoln by manhandling the Huskers. Going into Saturday's matchup in Columbia, the two teams are ranked #3 (Mizzou) and #16 (OSU).
Texas Tech was way too much for Kansas State. Iowa State gave Kansas fits all the way until the end.
The Big 12 is making it's case for being the nation's best conference, with 4 teams in the top 7 and 6 in the top 20 in the Rankings. OU is #1, Mizzou is #3, Texas is #5, Texas Tech is #7, Kansas is #15 and Oklahoma State is #16. The rankings will change after this weekend, with 4 of those teams in action against each other.
A look at this weekend's conference games: I will preview and predict each game later in the week.
OU vs Texas in Dallas
OSU @ Missouri
Colorado @ Kansas
Kansas State @ Texas A&M
Nebraska @ Texas Tech
Iowa State @ Baylor
Other top games from around the country:
LSU at Florida
Notre Dame at North Carolina
Tennessee @ Georgia
Looks to be an exciting weekend. Tell me what you are loking forward to.

Big 12 Conference openers- a quick review
Here is a quick review of the opening weekend in Big 12 Conference play:
Oklahoma 49 Baylor 17- The Sooners take care of business before the showdown with Texas next week. Robert Griffin for Baylor is scary.
Oklahoma State 56 Texas A&M 28- One of the sloppiest high scoring games you will ever see. Cowboys exact revenge on the Aggies. The Pokes are ready for a shootout in Columbia next week.
Kansas 35 Iowa State 33- Jayhawks avoid the upset n Ames, coming back from a 20-7 deficit.
Texas Tech 58 Kansas State 28- The Wildcats were no match for the Red Raiders offense. Graham Harrell set some more records.
Texas 38 Colorado 14- Horns take care of business early. They are ready for next Saturday as well.
Missouri 52 Nebraska 10 (4th Quarter)- Tigers are exercising 30+ years of demons in Lincoln.
Other games of Note:
Vanderbilt 14 Auburn 13- Auburn did nothing in the 2nd half. Vandy should go bowling this year.
Alabama 17 Kentucky 14- Wildcats put up a brave fight.
Tulsa 63 Rice 28- The Golden Hurricane make it a perfect 15-0 for the Oklahoma teams this season.
Here is a teaser for next weekend in the Big 12:
OU-Texas- enough said.
OSU @ Mizzou_ Make sure to have flipcharts ready when the scoreboards melt down.
I will write full reports tommorow.

Hello again
Sorry I have not published in a while. I have had NUMEROUS internet and computer issues. I will try to get back on track.
OU is leading Baylor 42-14 in the 3rd quarter. Iowa State is leading Kansas 20-7 in the 3rd, so an upset brewing possibly?
